Sarajevo International Airport, also known as Butmir Airport, is the main international airport in Bosnia and Herzegovina, serving Sarajevo, capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. It is located southwest of the Sarajevo railway station and some west of downtown Sarajevo in the Ilidža municipality, suburb of Butmir. In 2019, 1,143,680 passengers travelled through the airport.

Since the COVID-19 outbreak, the number of flights to and from Sarajevo was significantly reduced, some connections even completely cancelled for longer period. However, the recovery of flight transportation has begun and we hope for the stable connections and no surprised such as the last pandemic.

Currently, Sarajevo has flight connections with following destinations: Abu Dhabi, Amman, Antalya, Basel, Belgrade, Billund, Bodrum, Budapest, Charleroi, Cologne, Copenhagen, Doha, Dortmund, Dubai, Eindhoven, Frankfurt, Gothenburg, Hamburg, Hurghada, Istanbul, Jeddah, Kuwait City, London, Ljubljana, Malmo, Memmingen, Munich, Oslo, Paris, Riyadh, Sandefjord, Sharjah, Stockholm, Stuttgart, Treviso, Vienna, Warsaw, Zagreb, Zurich.
